Tree Planting Day

Room 15 went to the old Cambridge Road Dump to plant trees that had been grown in the unit at school. The trees were part of the Trees for Survival programme. There are already lots of trees and bushes growing there. We had to put the plant in holes that were already dug and put the soil back. It was a neat way to end the term.

About Us

Our Montessori teachers: Since 2003 we have grown our Montessori classes to include a 6-9 year classes and a 9-12 year class. We have currently have three Montessori teachers.

Nichola has taught with our Montessori team for eight years now. She has many years state teaching experience, along with several years of teaching 'Life Education.' She completed he NAMC 6-9 year Montessori training and is currently acting as team leader. Nichola is also a practicing psychosynthesis councellor.

Deirdre has been with the Montessori team at Bellevue School for two years. She is currently completing her NAMC Montessori 9-12 training. Deirdre has a passion for music and dance and an extensive knowledge of teaching numeracy and literacy.

Suzanne teaches the 6-9 year classes and has been with the Montessori team for 3 years. She completed her 6-9 year Montessori training with NAMC after becoming a certificated state teacher. Suzanne has a keen interest in working with children with learning difficulties.
